To launch our own, new, carded wool range, we begin with this beautiful collection of Spring Colours!
The Spirit of Spring includes:
6 x spring inspired colours of 10g (approx) of carded wool
20g Spring Time mix curly wool
More about our fibres:
Our carded wool has been professionally carded by the Natural Fibre Company in Launceston, Cornwall.
It consists of wools from our own flock, mixed with some Devon and Cornwall Longwool from Tregondale, and some Perendale from Hannah's Flock.
Our carded wool felts wonderfully - the Devon and Cornwall Longwool wool gives it a coarser texture, which means it's fast to felt.
It's then been hand dyed by myself.
To get the best results from our carded wool, take the length and gently pull side to side to free up the fibres, and it will form a mesh that's easy to use in all felted creations and other fibre arts.
Our Spring Time Curly Wool Mix features a very wide range of pastel curls!
From various breeds curly wool - from teeswater to wensleydale, we use around 6-7 breeds of curly wool sheep to create this spring themed mix!
Our Spirit of Spring Box contains wool from our own flock, plus visited farms to ensure that the highest welfare standards are kept!
We will be doing 4 seasonal boxes throughout the year, and will be running a competition on our social media platforms, where you can enter the Spirit of The Season Contest, and win the next box for the next season to come!
