Our new peg loom course will teach you the skills you need to make a scarf, and give you the confidence to create this cute and cosy caramel colour scarf, and learning these skills means you can make other creations too, such as head bands, bag straps and even rugs and seat pads.

BASIC INFORMATION  -

• Our Digital Lesson Download will be sent to you via email, in three files, and will be hosted on "onedrive" due to the size of the video files.   You do not need a onedrive account to access and download the files.

Our Digital Lesson Download - is a step by step video, shot in 3 separate parts, running for a total of around 45 mins.   

Part One - Includes information how to set up your loom, key terms and more.  (10 mins)

Part Two - Making your scarf - a guided introduction to weaving  (15 mins) 

Part Three - Finishing and further infomation on embellishments and more (20 mins) 

It will likely take you a good few hours to actually weave your scarf, so the digital lesson can be stopped and started and you can go at your own pace.

Want to make something new with a different weft? Any of our carded fibres are suitable for using with our peg looms.

For luxury, next to skin creations, you may like to purchase our mohair rovings - available in undyed natural colouring or various hand dyed options are in stock - just search "mohair roving" to see what we have!

For soft, but not so silky rovings, I recommend our mixed species carded fibres.  These contain wool, mohair and alpaca so are still soft, but not quite so soft as mohair.  Perfect for scarves and other next to skin creations. Search "carded mixed species fibres" to find out what we have in stock.

For robust creations, such as seat pads, arm rests for your soft furnishings, take a look at our own carded wools.  A mixture of coarse wools, our own carded wool is perfect for hard wearing creations that require a more robust fibre.  Search "carded wool" to find what we have in stock.

Go crazy and add some of our wool clouds or locks into your creations for a pop of colour and style! 

We also have beads, buttons and other items in our haberdashery you may like to add to your creations!
