Recycled Sari Silk Ribbon 1 meter Hand Dyed in Bright and Light Green Mixed Tones

I'm pleased to be able to offer a new product to our shop - recycled sari silk ribbon, in a 1 meter length!

Our Sari silk ribbon is a product created from the by products of the sari industry in India, and we work with a production partner who imports the ribbon for us

When it arrives here, it is then carefully hand dyed to create some gorgeous deep and light colours and shades - with this batch I left the silk crumpled when it went in the dye bath to deliberately allow for a variety of tonal shades across the ribbon, rather than a single colour.

This product is our Bright and Light Green mix  sari silk ribbon.    Sold in a 1 meter length with a width of around 3-4 cm.   As this is a recycled product, some variations in the width may occur. 

Beloved by wet and nuno felters, and other fibre artists, silk is a luxurious and light fibre, which shimmers in the light.
